Darryl knows first-hand the “ins and outs” of the caregiving journey. Darryl managed and resourced the care of his wife who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease 13 years ago.
Darryl is a National Board-certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBHWC) and comes to coaching following an impressive career at the CIA, starting as an intelligence analyst/engineer and ending as a senior executive. Upon retirement, the CIA awarded him the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal. During his career he worked at the White House Science Office as the Executive Assistant to the Science Advisor to the President and as a senior policy analyst.
Dr. Swerdlow is a pioneer in brain energy metabolism in Alzheimer’s Disease and his work was recently recognized with an Oskar Fischer Prize for innovation in research in Alzheimer’s disease.
Dr. Swerdlow is a professor in the Departments of Neurology, Molecular and Integrative Physiology, and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He is the director of the KUMC Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, its Neurodegenerative Disorders Program, and the Heartland Center for Mitochondrial Medicine.
Dr. Isaacson is a world-renowned neurologist and researcher, and currently serves as the director of the newly launched FAU Center for Brain Health at the Schmidt College of Medicine.
He also directs the Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic and leads an academic clinical research program aimed at reducing the risk of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Lewy body dementia in individuals with a family history of these diseases.
Prior to joining FAU, Dr. Isaacson served as director of the Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic at the Weill Cornell Memory Disorders Program, and was the assistant dean of faculty development, and associate professor of neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine & New York-Presbyterian.
Dr. Rothman is a physician executive with deep experience in home- and community-based services for older adults, physician practice management and clinical operations, value based care and Advanced Alternative Payment Models, regulatory affairs, quality improvement, and post-acute and long-term care.
Dr. Rothman was most recently the Chief Medical Officer of Signify Health where he led a nationwide practice of over 10,000 in-home providers, was responsible for medical and clinical strategy, and spearheaded the development of several new patient-facing clinical products. The company went public in 2021 and was acquired by CVS in 2023.
Sarah is a certified Dementia Care Partner® and a knowledgeable Geriatric Care Manager. She has hands on experience managing bespoke care ecosystems for families having held previous roles managing operations in the corporate world for companies both in the US and the UK.
Sarah is passionate about building effective, multidisciplinary teams through strong culture and is on a mission with Lizzy Care to deliver the best possible care to seniors by creating a system of dedicated and specialist caregivers supported by expert healthcare guidance, supervision and a unique digital platform.
Ollie stands at the forefront of healthcare innovation, blending over 15 years of expertise in technology leadership with a deep passion for transforming healthcare. As a seasoned pioneer in the startup arena, he has been instrumental in shaping businesses from the ground up, focusing on product development, business strategy, and customer success. His leadership has been pivotal in driving advancements in healthcare technology.
