Position Summary

Lizzy Care is seeking an accomplished Director of Business Development to oversee and drive various B2B and Enterprise partnership opportunities, together with our Chief Executive Officer and leadership team.  Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will oversee ongoing contracting efforts, test and mature various business development pipelines, and manage budgets and key performance indicators for enterprise growth and revenue generation. .

Business Development Pipeline Management 

  • Manage and execute on Lizzy Care’s various multi-channel B2B/Enterprise client and partnership opportunities with:
    • Accountable Care Organizations
    • Independent living/Assisted living chains 
    • Non-medical community based providers of elder-care
    • Multistate concierge medical practice platforms
    • Clinical practice solutions
    • Health & hospital systems
    • Managed Care Organizations
    • Adjacent healthcare tech startups
  • Establish best practices for lead generation, pipeline management, contracting, and deal closing across multiple segments.
  • Leverage data analytics and CRM tools to refine the sales process, improve conversion rates, and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute a scalable business development roadmap aligned with Lizzy Care’s 12-24 month growth trajectory.
  • Own revenue targets, report directly to the leadership team on quarterly KPIs, and optimize cost-per-acquisition (CPA) and sales efficiency.
  • Implement structured account-based sales strategies, ensuring seamless transitions from deal closure to long-term partnerships.

Forecasting, Monitoring & Reporting

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set revenue goals, KPIs, and milestones, ensuring alignment with Lizzy Care’s mission and business objectives.
  • Track and analyze key financial metrics (pipeline health, conversion rates, average deal size) to forecast revenue and refine strategies.
  • Develop real-time dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Present regular progress updates, strategic recommendations, and corrective action plans to executive leadership.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Define clear roles across enterprise sales, partnerships, and lead generation, ensuring team efficiency and accountability.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to develop skills, provide feedback, and drive team morale and performance.
  • Continuously optimize sales training, CRM adoption, and enablement tools to improve team effectiveness.

Strategic Partnerships & Market Expansion

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador.
  • Establish strategic alliances with key healthcare organizations to expand Lizzy Care’s market reach via co-branded partnerships and referral networks.
  • Work cross-functionally with Tech, Product, Marketing, and Clinical Operations to maximize partnership value and enhance market differentiation.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, acquisitions, and competitive shifts, identifying new opportunities for market expansion.

Marketing, Competitive Analysis & Industry Engagement

  • Monitor competitor strategies, pricing models, and market trends, adjusting Lizzy Care’s sales roadmap to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide Product and Marketing teams with insights on feature enhancements, product innovation, and positioning strategies.
  • Represent Lizzy Care at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand visibility and credibility.
  • Engage with C-level decision-makers and industry influencers to secure high-value contracts and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred, but not required).
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years in healthcare services and technology sales or related business development roles.
  • Budget & Quota Management: Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and achieve sales budgets, quotas, and revenue targets in a complex sales cycle.
  • Team Leadership: Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling teams of sales or business development professionals.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the healthcare tech industry, including compliance, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data-driven approach, with the ability to leverage market research and sales metrics to influence decisions.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with the ability to pivot quickly in response to market changes.

Details

  • Reports to: CEO (Dr. Rothman)
  • W2 full-time role
  • Location: Hybrid role, 25% in person with leadership team. Occasional travel to industry conferences or meet with key clients and partner organizations
  • Salary $110,000-120,000 plus competitive benefits package, equity options TBD, and performance based compensation plans.
