How to handle the finances
As dementia progresses your loved one may not be able to continue to manage their own finances or you may need to put in place some planning for the future. As their advocate you should be aware of their financial position and what is or is not affordable in providing their care. This can be an extremely difficult conversation to have with your loved one but it’s an important part of being able to prepare for the future together.
